For over nine years, I've dedicated myself to serving the Little Traverse Bay Bands of Odawa Indians (LTBB) with a passion for making a positive impact on my community. My journey began as a tribal police dispatcher, where I played a crucial role in ensuring public safety. I then transitioned to the dental front desk, honing my interpersonal skills and commitment to patient care. Leveraging my administrative talents, I moved on to Purchased/Referred Care Management, streamlining processes for essential medical services. Currently, I leverage my experience as the LTBB Prevention Program Coordinator, developing and implementing initiatives that empower our people to lead healthier, safer lives.My educational background reflects my commitment to continuous learning. I hold an Associate of Applied Science in Criminal Justice and General Studies, followed by a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Administration with High Distinction from Central Michigan University. The strong foundation in leadership and management practices I gained will be amplified when I pursue a Master of Science in Administration.Beyond formal education, I actively seek opportunities to expand my knowledge. This includes completing LinkedIn courses and acquiring certifications in data analysis, safety coordination, communication strategies, digital marketing, and prevention best practices. My service in the Michigan Army National Guard (2011-2019) as a Sergeant in the 46th Military Police Company further honed my leadership, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities. I was responsible for the well-being and performance of my squad, trained in military and civil law, conflict resolution, and emergency response. Notably, I administered life-saving first aid to a teammate during a training exercise, demonstrating my ability to think clearly and act decisively under pressure.
