About Jade Clare

I am a final year BSc (Hons) Business and Economics student at the University of Salford, where my studies focus on Business Ethics, Sustainability, Macroeconomics, Data Analysis, Financial Markets, and Accounting. My aim is to work in Sustainability Consultantancy or Environmental Management, where I can challenge my entrepreneurial skills and make a positive impact. As the President of Enactus Salford, I lead a society facilitating social enterprise and the next generation of leaders through teamwork and collaboration. I co-direct VenU, a small start-up business that provides an advanced search engine to browse and book local venues within the Greater Manchester area. I have professional experience working in Customer Service and Accounting at Sherwin-Williams. I am certified in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Powerpoint, and using the Salford Bloomberg Terminal, I am currently completing the Bloomberg Market Concepts course. As part time jobs, I work as a barista at The Vienna Coffee House in Manchester, as well as a Covid Steward with UniTemps at the University of Salford.
