About Jade James
I am currently working as a Advanced Kent enablement and recovery service worker. My job role involves supporting those with mental health needs who are being discharged and who are in need of support to reintegrate into the community. Before this I was working on a adolescent mental health ward. Previous to this I completed a placement year with the forced migration trauma service, here I delivered behavioural activation therapy for depression. During this time I also provided psycho-education for refugees and migrants with PTSD. I have achieved a 2:1 degree in psychology (BSc) at the university of Westminster. For my final year dissertation I researched attitudes towards anxiety disorders.
