About Jake Harris

Ever since I made invaluable personal progress in therapy, I have wanted to join the field of Psychology myself. I put myself through college and my graduate program by working in electronics retail stores, leading to a large body of knowledge around technology, which I now use in my practice. I spent several years as an Associate Therapist getting my clinical experience hours and invaluable training at PCH Treatment center in Los Angeles. While there, I spent my time specializing in working with OCD and Anxiety patients, in particular getting years of experience utilizing Exposure Response Prevention (ERP), as well as learning a variety of therapeutic modalities and skill. My time there also included learning about case management while assisting the Program Directors with managing client cases and needs. Since getting licensed I am now also working in private practice, using ACT, DBT, MBT, and practicing Life Skills Coaching. I continue to work at PCH, running groups and seeing individual clients on top of my existing private practice caseload. With my unique group therapy style, a deep playbook of activities and exercises of my own design, I offer a fresh and engaging approach that gets clients motivated and energized to make real change.
