About Jake Opperman
I am the Lead Artist for Boeing Australia’s Mixed Reality Team – an internal AR/VR development team within Boeing Research & Technology. Most recently I have worked on the Boeing CST-100 Starliner VR Experience as well as several other unannounced projects in training and simulation applications of highly realistic VR. I am responsible for leading pipeline design, modelling, texturing and materials within the team.I also have the chance to provide advice on realtime technologies for applications in commercial, defence and space, across the Boeing enterprise.Before joining Boeing, I spent a number of years as a freelance artist developing environment concepts, 2D and 3D assets, props and pitch artwork for studios and game developers worldwide.Find examples of my work at
