About James Chapman

I have recently passed a Master’s degree in MA Learning, Technology and Education (online) with a Merit. This degree involved a wide range of pedagogies and technologies surrounding online learning and I am now able to advise and best implement learning technologies for all levels of education. In addition, I am a history and American Studies graduate from York St John University with a 2:1 and I am very dedicated to developing a career in Higher Education in a role that involves the development and creation of online learning resources. I am committed to dedicating my career to the creation of supportive and interactive resources for students to enhance their learning experience. I have nearly 4 years’ experience working in HE as an administrator, with most resources involving virtual learning environments, such as Blackboard and Moodle so I am already well prepared for starting roles such as learning technologist. I hope that I am considered for a more creative role within higher education as I find supporting students and teachers fulfilling and rewarding. I hope to progress my career into a learning technology role in the near future and will be working towards preparing for these roles as part of currently working part time.
