About James Hare

Diversity, equity and inclusion are more than just buzzwords for me. They are the core of my mission, vision, and values as a professional and as a human being. I have dedicated years of my career to collaborating with passionate people and organisations on their journey through diversity, equity and inclusion practice, as the owner and diversity specialist at Equality Group, and as the diversity and inclusion committee co-chair at Australian Human Resources Institute DEI Network NSW.With a background in HR and employee relations, I have a proven innovative approach in the development and implementation of policies and strategies that create safe and inclusive spaces where individuals feel they belong and thrive. I have also demonstrated my leadership and advocacy skills in various volunteer and community roles, such as AHRI Diversity, LGBTIQ+ projects and initiatives, and public speaking at conferences and events. My expertise covers consultation, group facilitation, public speaking, presentation, strategic reform, program management, business planning, facilitation, and business transformation.
