I'm a senior IT Professional with over 19 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry. I have a proven track record of partnering with the business units as a trusted adviser to help discover ways that technology can empower their daily decisions. By representing the needs, priorities, and constraints of both the business and IT, I strive to be an integrator of two groups that can often be separated by great divides. My goal is to develop the lateral capabilities of an organization and create an environment where both IT and the business have a shared responsibility for what is created and delivered. With my extensive background in software development and solution architecture, I strive to ensure that the solutions implemented by IT meet the needs of the business today, and are designed in a manner that maintains flexibility to the needs of tomorrow. I enjoy working with a brilliant team to collaboratively take a business challenge through architectural design, implementation, quality assurance, and deployment to the end user. My key differentiator is a deep understanding of Alberta's oil and gas industry, grown through hands on development experience with many technology systems utilized by the industry today, as well as active engagement with amazing engineers/industry experts (mentors) who are focusing on the challenges of tomorrow.
