About James Rickard

As the primary contact for accessibility consulting services at three different firms, I have worked intimately with the Texas Accessibility Standards (TAS) since 2005. I am a Registered Accessibility Specialist (RAS #1182) and certified to provide accessible plan review and inspection services required by the State of Texas for many renovation and all new construction projects designated for public use in Texas. Over a combined 30+ years of experience in accessibility consulting, P3 Consulting has established numerous resources and contacts, allowing us to make difficult interpretations in unique scenarios. My goal is to provide owners, architects, contractors, and anyone else interested with accurate accessibility information that is relevant to their needs and concerns. P3 is also in the process of developing training courses in accessibility (TAS and ADA) with the ability to adapt presentations to the needs of the audience. We expect to be offering multiple courses including AIA-approved CE credits and TDLR-approved CE credits. Please contact me for more information on these courses.
