About James Tadlock

In short: I love drawing things! I got 10+ years of doing it! More specifically I love drawing, illustrating, and creating worlds. I’m always up to something: painting something on my drawing tablet, modeling a 3D world, scripting assets in substance, drawing in my sketchbook, researching the latest technology trends. I tend to self identify as a nerd and I am always looking to improve myself with my love to draw and create things daily. In the Architecture Industry (6 years professional), I focus around Conceptual Design, Project Design, BIM Management & Coordination, and Visualization using Real Time including Unreal Engine. I also have experience with construction documentation / coordination with real life assemblies and code manifestations, helping bridge the gap between conceptual architecture to what actually gets built. I’m on my way to transition towards the Gaming Industry (2 year professional) where I currently work on Concept Art, Environment Art and Texture Art, often involving optimizing game assets and creating high quality packages to be used in games, or developing conceptual ideas to then take into development. My wife and I are always creating our own worlds and stories as well! Writing, drawing, modeling to ultimately start creating comics and graphic novels; we absolutely love what we do!
