About Jamesia Jackson

Greetings! I am a recent graduate of FAMU College of Law in Orlando, Fl. Where I served as the President of the Student Bar Association, President of the Criminal Law Society, and Vice Justice of Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity International. I also serve as a scholarship initiate and ambassador for Journey to Esquire and the Director of Mock Trial for SRBLSA. I am a Broward County Alumni Scholar, Faculty & Staff Scholar, as well as a George C. Young Inn of Court Writing Award Recipient. I obtained my Bachelor's degree from Florida Agricultural & Mechanical University in Biology on a Pre-Med track. During my academic career, I also managed to excel academically while being highly involved in campus life. As a first-year law student I obtained a remote internship in the legal department at BankUnited, where I did extensive research into statutes and bank law, drafted Notices of Termination, handled Non-Disclosure Agreements, assisted in contract drafting and editing, and actively participated in contract negotiations. I excelled tremendously and impressed my supervisors so much so that they extended my internship. Furthermore, I have extensive interpersonal skills that make me capable of interacting well with my peers and prospective clientele. I possess many valuable professional skills such as: multitasking, customer service, and Microsoft office efficiency. In my academic and professional life, my professors, supervisors, and peers consistently praise me for my tenacity and affluence. Whether working on academic, extracurricular, or professional projects, I apply proven leadership, multitasking, and management skills.
