About Jamie Andrews
I'm an experienced entrepreneur with a background in customer-facing tech and carbon reduction. I'm currently beta launching squaddle.co.uk, a new WhatsApp-based tool for organising social activities like sport. I co-founded rail technology startup Loco2 with my sister Kate and we built a great company that I was very proud of. In 2017 we sold it (to French rail operator SNCF) and I stopped working there in late 2018. I took a substantial break to start a family and move from London to mid-Wales. During this time I remained non-exec Chair of Riding Sunbeams, an exciting startup that is connecting solar PV directly to rail networks (backed by Thrive Renewables). I've also used the proceeds from the sale of Loco2 to invest in a number of startups, including Byway, Dizzie (previously Good Club) and School Space. Squaddle now takes up the majority of my time and we're excited to be launching it into beta this autumn.
