About Jamie Maister

I combine all the tech skills you’d expect from a Computer Science undergrad at a top university with an unusual mix of having loved History and English; been an army cadet, where I became an officer, a tech teacher to young people, an active games tester, and occasional filmmaker. I am disabled, with both hands having reduced function, and am missing a thumb on my left hand, but I have never let this impair my work or play, enjoying climbing, tennis, gaming and shooting. I am a strategic thinker, spending a lot of time considering the strategies, design and commercial model of the games I play. I will always aim to bring a big picture view to any work I do. I also make short films with filmaking society at university in my spare time, and have recently become treasurer of the society.
