I’m a communications and marketing professional with over ten years of experience leading digital content strategy and media relations in the Canadian university sports and higher education sectors. In my current role at the Canada West Universities Athletic Association, I oversee comprehensive communications initiatives — from producing hundreds of press releases and managing social media channels that have more than doubled in followers, to collaborating on broadcast projects and driving record-breaking revenue for our streaming platform. I take pride in crafting engaging stories and dynamic content that celebrate the achievements of our student-athletes, while fostering strong partnerships across 17 member institutions and key stakeholders. As a former student-athlete myself, I understand the power of memorable storytelling — whether through articles, photography, or viral video moments — to honour the dedication and passion of athletes while connecting with fans and communities.
