About Jamon Pulliam

Passionate about guiding students through their educational journeys, I am an experienced college counseling leader dedicated to supporting students and families with care, expertise, and integrity. Currently serving as the Senior Associate Director of College Counseling at Viewpoint School, I bring a wealth of experience in academic advising, college admissions guidance, and program development. With a Doctorate in Educational Leadership from UCLA and a strong foundation from Tuskegee University, I combine academic expertise with a deep commitment to student success. My dissertation, HBCU 101: Understanding How Familiar Independent School College Counselors are with Historically Black Colleges and Universities, reflects my passion for increasing HBCU awareness and opportunities. Outside my role at Viewpoint, I am proud to serve as a UCLA Extension Instructor for Inclusive College Counseling, sharing my knowledge with future counseling professionals. I also stay engaged in the broader educational landscape through speaking engagements, professional affiliations, and advisory board memberships.
