About Jan Clark

Raise and train Australian Shepherds that I sometimes breed and often show. Currently writing my first (and only!) novel. Two kids grown and gone (both are living in far off cities) but do get to visit with them once in a while. Interested in and ready for travel: local, US, or beyond - extensive or otherwise. Working towards independent living: producing my own food and energy at some point in the not too distant future. My Volkswagen Jetta is a deezil that I run on BioFuel so that I do not add pollution to our environment either in the production or in the use of it. And I even have my own 300 gallon tank filled on my property so I don't need to get to a a station to fill up! I only get in the car a few times a week (at most) and do no daily travel. Commuting to work is a thing of the past! I practice natural healing and alternative medicine when possible (homeopathy and chiropractic, for example). Play with firepower can be a great release am pretty well organized. Not bad with animals. Retired (young!) and financially self sufficient. Working towards achieving some self sufficiency in how I live my life (homesteading, if you will) by producing my own food and attempting to meet my personal energy needs. I'm not too bad at hitting the target. Not tied down - except for needing to lock the door when I leave and making arrangements for dogs to be fed until I return. Ready to depart for parts unknown.
