About Jared Karten

I am a dedicated D365 ERP Implementation Consultant with a strong background in finance and digital accounting solutions. I studied at The Ohio State University, where I earned a Bachelor's degree in Finance from the Max M. Fisher College of Business, graduating in May, 2024. Currently, I am a Staff Consultant at Crowe LLP, based in Chicago. At Crowe, I specialize in Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations ERP, focusing on building and implementing digital accounting solutions for clients in the Telecommunications and Cell Tower Industry. My expertise includes ERP Implementation, LLMs, and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes. Working on the Digital Accounting team, I have a proven track record of leveraging ERP solutions to streamline financial processes, resulting in significant operational efficiencies for my clients. One of my notable achievements was playing a key role in a recent project where I was one of only two finance functional consultants to travel on-site during the first week of the go-live. This experience allowed me to quickly adapt and problem-solve through various Finance modules such as AP, AR, Cash and bank management, General ledger, Tax, Fixed assets, Project management & accounting, and Lease management. In addition to my project work, I have been exploring the potential of Large Language Models (LLMs) like Copilot and their usefulness for current and prospective clients. My innovative approach and dedication to continuous learning have enabled me to stay ahead in the ever-evolving field of digital accounting and ERP solutions.
