Sonder (noun)- the realization that each random passerby is living a life as vivid and complex as your own. We often tend to forget that and reduce those we meet into little boxes based on their alma mater or professional history. Yet, there is so much more to each and every one of us so here is a list of 10 things that would probably take you weeks’ worth of coffee breaks to find out about me. 1) Every day I express my gratitude to the universe for letting me grow up before the influencers took over. 2) There is so much going on so how am I supposed to choose just a couple of interests? Japanese joinery - yes please, air carbon capture - sure thing, why didn’t Roman empire industrialize- of course I want to know more! 3) I live to eat not eat to live. Street tacos, rooftop fine dining or cooking my own dinner I say yes to all. 4) Nothing wrong with staying in at night. I like other people, but I appreciate my own company too. 5) Very few feelings can compare to finally debugging your code at 2am and going to bed happy that persistence paid off. 6) I regularly try to push myself to start waking up early. but I am starting to think that it is not for me. 7) Fake it till you make it, whoever says that is not true is not being very honest. 8) Asthma - because from all the things I can suck at, I suck at breathing. I fight back though, Loch Ness Marathon 2023 here I come! 9) I hated it when I had to help my dad around the house. Now I wish I had paid more attention. 10) No more dip buying, the whole crypto market is a scam - bitcoin drops under 18k - honeey did you see my crypto wallet? On a more serious note though, I enjoy finding structure in chaos, revealing patterns, organizing and solving problems. I am a learner and an achiever; I don’t guess I infer. I am better with numbers than emotions and I've been told that my bar is too high (I wouldnt thought that could be a problem). If you have made it this far, then I hope you know more about this random passerby than you did before. Finding the right person to the team isn’t easy but one can learn anything off the internet these days but not how to be a good fit.
