About Jas Snell

Jas Snell has over a decade of lived and professional experience within the Child Welfare and Homeless Services system. In her roles, Jas aims to build the capacity of agencies and communities through technical assistance, serving as neutral facilitator, value keeper, and doing the work with equity at the center. Jas specializes in the areas of youth collaboration, cross-systems collaboration, and coaching. Her work demonstrates the commitment she has to improving the outcomes for those who touch child and family serving systems. Jas uses her expertise to work alongside system partners to influence holistic practices, policy reformation to meet the unique needs of families and youth, and to encourage a continued journey of healing.Jas holds a Bachelor of Science in business Administration with a major in Accounting from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, which informs her of the financial implications of change work. With Jas' collective experience in business, social services, and through lived experience, she aims to start a primary school that offers two-generational services for youth ages 3-20 years old. This approach honors her beliefs that every family deserves the opportunity to learn, grow, and stay together in all times of need.
