About Jason Cabral

I began my journey with Mount Pleasant Group at the young age of 16. From June of 1990 to July I worked as a Seasonal/ Part Time employee at Pine Hills Cemetery. Some of my first memories are of performing general maintenance of the grounds, grass cutting, watering flowerbeds and sodding graves. With my hard work ethics and desire to learn my attention turned towards the idea of a Full Time position with MPG. In the fall of a Full Time position was posted for Pine Hills Cemetery, It couldn’t be better, the job I wanted at the property that I spent the majority of my youth working at. Shortly after hearing about the job posting the arrogance of youth led me to purchase my first brand new vehicle that month, that job was mine, as an adult I would of waited until I actually got the job before making a decision like that, lucky for me, I got the job. The next 15 years gave me a plethora of experience and knowledge in the Cemetery Service Industry, from problem solving, creating efficient ways to perform different tasks and most importantly how to interact with our customers. Compassion and helpful suggestions towards customers have led to many meaningful relationships that are still current to this day. MPG has given me the opportunity and knowledge to grow from a young man to a professional in my field. In 2015 I decided to take the next step with my career and move into a management position, After the nervousness of that first day subsided I settled down and realized that this is what my career has led me to, I had the knowledge and expertise and now I had an opportunity to pass on that knowledge to new up and coming staff, it felt good. I am currently working in a Property Manager role at Duffin Meadows Cemetery, I feel that MPG has given me the tools that are necessary to succeed and flourish in my new role and I look forward to what the future may hold.
