About Jason Clark

I specialise in managing workplace misconduct and psychosocial risk, relying on over 25 years of experience working as both a people manager and workplace investigator in the military, government, industrial, and corporate sectors. I am passionate about assisting workplaces develop strategies to foster a positive and safe workplace culture. Pragmatic and responsive, I am acutely aware of the impact employee misconduct and cultural dysfunction has on the workplace and I employ a trauma-informed, forensic approach when managing employee misconduct for employers in the public, private, and not for profit sectors. I am expert in: • Managing/conducting investigations into employee misconduct. • Managing/conducting Public Interest Disclosure (Commonwealth/State) investigations. • Managing/conducting investigations into alleged breaches of the APS Code of Conduct*. • Review of investigations and dispute resolution processes. • Undertaking workplace culture reviews. • Reviewing and drafting employment policies. • Providing training on workplace investigation techniques including interviewing and evidence analysis. • Remedial training and coaching.* I also hold the required qualifications under the Australian Government Investigation Standards (AGIS). I am also co-author of Workplace Investigations (4th Edition), the definitive guide to conducting workplace investigations, published by Wolters Kluwer in 2023, and are sought after to speak on a range of topics about managing employee behaviour and resolving workplace dysfunction, around Australia and overseas. I share leadership of Worklogic with my colleague Jodie Fox and also lead our Sydney team. I am a member of the Australasian Association of Workplace Investigators, Australian Institute of Corporate Directors, and the Australian Human Resource Institute.
