I have a long record of success in tech, video games, consumer and entertainment publicity with extensive experience in creating effective global public relations strategies that directly impact audience engagement, awareness, and revenue. Expertise includes strategy development, media relations, digital PR, crisis communications, strategic brand positioning, reputation management and executive thought leadership. With Wonacott PR, I provide award-winning PR and communications programs for clients, reaching their communications goals in the ever-evolving worlds of digital entertainment, video games, eSports, consumer electronics, VR/AR, Web3/NFT, FinTech and eCommerce. I understand these industries – and the importance of resonating with niche and global audiences, delivering the right message to the right targets. Before the dot-com boom I was a TV reporter, and I proudly served in the U.S. Navy, both in personnel management and with Naval Broadcasting Service. I hold a BS in Journalism and Communication from the University of Oregon and yes, the Ducks will win a football national championship. Some day. I’ve enjoyed the Southern California weather for most of the past 25 years, but grew up in a small town in Oregon. Love surfing in Malibu and perusing local wine stores for good Cab and Pinot deals. But mostly I’m happy to be a part of a wonderful community, both personally and professionally. Youth sports advocate – and a member of Agoura Pony Baseball’s board. Also, a second dan black belt instructor of Israeli hand-to-hand combat and self-defense, Krav Maga. So you could say I’m a good guy to know in a bad situation.
