About Jay Dwarka

My name is Jay Dwarka, and ever since I can remember, I have had a passion for aviation, accompanied by a strong ambition to work in the aviation industry. I graduated as an Aviation Engineer with a specialization in Flight Operations Engineering. Currently, I work as a Service Owner Aircraft at Royal Schiphol Group. Our team, Airside Process Management—part of the Airport Operations and Aviation Partnerships department—is responsible for overseeing aircraft processes at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol. As the Service Owner for Aircraft De-icing, I am responsible for preparing de-icing operations, optimizing existing procedures, updating operational protocols, and evaluating the winter season. This role also involves stakeholder management, participating in international working groups, ensuring regulatory compliance, and attending conferences with other airports. I dedicate much of my spare time to reading and analyzing flight deck manuals and technical aircraft documentation, including airframe, powerplant, and avionics systems. Additionally, I pursue various aviation-related hobbies such as aviation photography and flying the Boeing 737 Next-Gen simulator, allowing me to stay closely connected to my passion for aviation
