About Jayden Roch

Hi! I'm Jayden (she/her), an ambitious Bridge Engineer-in-Training. Nelson, British Columbia born and raised, with a passion for hydrotechnical, river, and bridge engineering, effective leadership, high-performance teams, personal development, and creating genuine human connections. My background of playing many different sports (including 5 years of post secondary volleyball and competing on the world stage for jump rope), has not only taught me valuable life skills, but ignited a passion for how high-performance teams function both in sports and in the workplace. I am very passionate about my work in bridge and river engineering - the movement of water fascinates me! In my free time, you can find me playing and coaching sports, working on my health and fitness, exploring the outdoors, and playing with my rescue dog, Cooper. My strengths include solving real-life problems, eagerness to learn, dynamic leadership, effective written and oral communication, coachability, being a team player, and having a growth mindset.
