About Jaye Cartney

I pride myself on my professionalism and on achieving my highest standard possible within any position. As a long-term employee of Acadia University, I have been recognized with excellent job reviews over the years. I not only pay attention to detail, but I strive to streamline and improve processes whenever possible. I have a strong work ethic, combined with an enthusiastic and pleasant manner. As a Helpdesk/Learning Specialist consultant at Acadia, I have demonstrated multitasking and priority-setting abilities through providing front line support for technology questions. Students, Staff and Faculty were the clients and I was often asked for, due to my friendly customer service. I am comfortable working in a busy office environment and have had to juggle phone, email inquiries and walk-in clients, in addition to regular projects such creating instructional web pages. This experience has allowed me to develop excellent communication skills and time-management skills. I have recently relocated to Halifax and am enjoying the many opportunities that the city provides. I have continued to pursue a Bachelor of Arts, General, from Acadia University, part time, and am within one and one half credits of completing the requirements.
