About Jeff Cass

I've been part of sports and business teams all my life. After retiring early in January of 2023, being part of a larger team was one piece that has been missing from an otherwise very active and enjoyable lifestyle. I was fortunate to have a very good 30+ year career mostly in the industrial gas industry where I initially got to use my analytical and technical skills learned as a degreed Mechanical Engineer. Over the last 20 years of my career, I had the opportunity to develop my leadership skills while leading many successful teams ranging in size from 5 to people within 3 different corporations. After some soul searching and discussion with my wife, I decided that I would go back to work and find a role where I could utilize the skills developed over my career while working with a team. I am looking to develop new relationships, tap into my deep rooted competitiveness and work with a group of people towards a common goal. The role would need some flexibility so I could accomplish these things while still enjoying a very active lifestyle with my wife. The Vistage Chair role fit my goals perfectly! Vistage has dedicated their 65 years in business to helping CEO's and business leaders from small to mid-sized companies use a peer advisory group to reach new levels of success. As a Chair, I lead, facilitate and mentor a group of strong leaders in the Charlotte area who help each other not only solve their tough problems but also become better people in the process.
