About Jeff Flis

As a Team Lead at USAID's Bureau for Humanitarian Assistance, I leverage my MBA and Master's in International Relations to provide strategic guidance and support to executive leadership. I manage a team of 10 staff and contractors, overseeing all aspects of office operations for the MENAE headquarters in Washington, D.C. I also facilitate the delivery of $3B in annual humanitarian assistance across the region. In addition to my current role, I have experience as a Management & Program Analyst and a Humanitarian Assistance Officer at USAID. In these roles, I oversaw institutional partnerships and financial agreements between USAID and non-governmental organizations, ensuring effective delivery of humanitarian assistance. I also cultivated and maintained strategic relationships with partner organizations, facilitating program planning, performance evaluations, and data-driven decision-making. I am passionate about international development and humanitarian work, and I am always looking for new ways to enhance impact and alignment with organizational priorities.
