Ice technician, Zamboni operator, problem solver of all things Ice surface related. • Responsible for taking surface temperatures of the ice throughout game days, continuing through games when there is stoppages in play and working in coordination with building engineers to adjust and or maintain optimal ice temperatures for the players. • Responsible for taking ice measurements regularly. • Responsible for ice maintenance which includes thorough clean up the morning after concerts, basketball games or any such event that requires the ice being covered. Required to cut, build or edge ice whenever time and opportunity allowed in accordance to what the measurements indicates. • Install or removal of logos whenever the need arose. • Experienced being part of and responsible for all things ice related during the World Cup of Hockey and the World Juniors on multiple occasions with a small group of people.
