I am an editor of speculative fiction from Toronto. I work as an editor at ECW Press, acquiring science fiction, fantasy, and horror. I am co-editor at podcastle.org (part of Escape Artists, Inc.), an award-winning fantasy fiction magazine and podcast and co-chair of ephemera, a speculative fiction reading series in Toronto. I have been nominated for the World Fantasy Award, the British Fantasy Award, the Aurora Award, and others for my editorial work in the SFF world. I also have a Master's of Science in molecular biology and previously worked as a research associate in the environmental sciences, directing a conservation project concerned with the protection of native bee species in Ontario.
