About Jen Moyer

I’m a high-energy, executive who loves re-imaging the experiences delivered by HR. I am both cake & icing… ideas are easy, execution is an art. I favor practicality over perfection to drive speed & I don’t believe hope is a strategy. I started my career in the business & was recruited due to my strong interpersonal skills to the dark side of HR to sell my intern & executive development trainee experience on campus. I agreed to a trial in HR with great skepticism. I figured @ a minimum, I’d enjoy that the HR role allowed me to break free of cubicle life, travel across the country, meet/host executives on campus & help students learn more about career options. My mentor had seen something in me that I hadn’t seen in myself. HR was a place I could be disruptive by bringing to the function a business lens. I haven’t looked back. I’m having a blast trying on a myriad of HR leadership roles but theses varied experiences aren't turning this talent guru into generalist. I have successfully been rebranding HR functions from the dark side to a bright spot in partnering where organizations can achieve impressive results through their people! In my free time, I have an abundance of passions and plug into a variety of energy sources that keep me amped and super charged. Should we have the chance to meet, ask me about my playspace, recent reads, my theory on wind/water/wheels, Northern Michigan or painted dogs. If I had to aspire to be any TV character, I am a lifelong student of human behavior & as a result, I couldn't love Wendy Rhoades more in Billions.
