Background

About Jennifer Chikelu

EIT-credentialed and recent Masters in Mechanical Engineering graduate from South Dakota State University. I earned a full scholarship as a graduate teaching assistant where I implemented and enhanced both my engineering and leadership skills. I grew up in Nigeria where I completed my undergrad in Chemical Engineering, graduating 2nd in my class. Meanwhile, moving to the United States to earn my MS in Mechanical Engineering required more than that. I had to teach myself a ton of new information and build a network from scratch! This adaptability, dedication, and ingenuity define how I execute my commitments to myself and to others. I am highly detail-oriented, organized, with demonstrated knowledge of FEA and CFD simulations. One of my strengths is the ability to learn quickly and tackle challenging problems. My high learning agility and problem-solving skills will make me a competitive and ideal candidate for challenging projects. Currently am excited about my current job as a fluids engineer. It is very hands-on and designing process work flow and system designs are very interesting and educating concepts.
