I have transitioned into the world of sport administration. I worked for 10 years as the Manager of Programs and Operations for the Ontario Curling Council (recognized Provincial Sport Organization for amateur curling in Ontario). Concurrently, I worked as a contractor for Curling Canada (National Sport Organization) as the National Coach Certification Program Contractor responsible for the coach education programming for the sport of curling in Canada. In 2019, I also assumed the Safe Sport Portfolio at Curling Canada and continue to work to safeguard the sport of curling. In May 2024, I have taken on a full time role at Curling Canada as the Sport Safety and Education Officer. In my volunteer time, I am a youth curling coach at the Grimsby Curling Club and hold a Chartered Professional Coach Status with the Coaching Association of Canada. I hold a diploma in Respiratory Therapy from the Michener Institute for Applied Health Sciences and am an inactive member of the College of Respiratory Therapists of Ontario.
