About Jennifer Pollom

I am a marine conservation leader with almost 20 years of experience in various fields of non-profit leadership, and the environmental and social impacts of conservation. As the Executive Director at Ocean Conservation Foundation, I direct conservation operations to restore the Florida Reef tract, one of the most diverse and endangered ecosystems in the world. Through this endeavor I also work with the largest PADI dive shop in the Americas, Rainbow Reef Dive Center, where I serve as the Director of Conservation, to leverage their resources and network to accelerate the reef restoration process. My passion for the ocean and its inhabitants motivates me to use my skills and knowledge in marine science, non-profit management, policy analysis, and politics to address the urgent challenges and opportunities facing our blue planet. In my previous roles, I have taught, researched, designed, and implemented conservation programs that aimed to protect marine resources, reduce poverty, and improve livelihoods in various coastal communities around the world. I have also led and contributed to major policy initiatives and campaigns that influenced legislation and public opinion on economic and environmental issues. I am committed to making a positive difference by working with diverse partners and stakeholders to create and execute effective solutions for marine conservation.
