About Jenny P.

Previously, I had a very dull, lifeless description of myself that explained how I was a highly motivated individual, diligent worker, and passionate about writing & reading. Yet that gave very little personal appeal to my actual skills and what I am capable of. I've attended Pace University studying Digital Communications with a minor in Psychology for 3 1/2 years. During my time, I learned about news and print media as I believe journalism was the right path for me.(You can check out my college news blog: https://jennpierre.wixsite.com/h2iblog) However, I had a professor that preached about how journalism and print media were dead. Of course, as a young college student, I believed him. I never strayed away from writing though. I fell in love with an IMac, well specifically the skills I gained from it. I took a media production course that taught me the ins and out of Avid, Adobe Premiere, and DaVinci Resolve. I realized then and there reporting was not for me. My computer screen brought me joy. I moved forward with advanced courses such as Public Relations, Advertising, and Screenwriting (a surprising fav). I could go on forever about my college experience but the point is to explain how I found my ideal career. A glance at my resume assumes I have limited skills when in reality my years at college and my freelance work have been a great learning experience. I am a lifestyle blogger, social media specialist, creative writer (although if you got this far, I hope that was obvious), and content creator.
