About Jensen Tan

I have always believed in the power of content and entertainment to create something greater than oneself. I’ve always appreciated a multidisciplinary approach to learning, and I carry that mindset into every environment I step into. I began my journey as a creative in film production, development, and journalism before pivoting into a business-oriented role—bridging creativity with analytical thinking in the fields of technology and entertainment. This shift led me to pursue a path as an aspiring brand and product marketing manager, with a focus on using multimedia and transmedia methods to drive forward creative projects, while also leveraging AI-driven consumer data to maximize audience engagement, revenue, and long-term brand potential. I also have experience in finance and operations, currently working as a Investor Relations Associate at Survios, where I support strategic communications, investor engagement, and business development for an emerging VR gaming studio in Los Angeles. I bring global academic and professional experience, having lived and worked across Melbourne, Singapore, Los Angeles, New York City, and London. My career has included roles at companies such as FloodSlicer, Saatchi & Saatchi, Dark Castle Entertainment, Steiner Studios, Nox Media, and Survios. I graduated from the University of Southern California, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Cinema and Media Studies from the School of Cinematic Arts, along with a Marketing minor from the Marshall School of Business. I currently work as an Investor Relations Associate at Survios, an emerging VR gaming studio, and will pursue a Master’s in Management at Imperial College London. My greatest strength lies in my international background and upbringing. I am incredibly grateful to have had the opportunity to study and work in multiple countries. As a proud Melburnian, I’ve immersed myself in a rich tapestry of cultures across Australia, Singapore, the U.S, and the U.K. Living independently in diverse environments has taught me adaptability, cultural intelligence, and an appreciation for varied perspectives. My goal is to foster meaningful relationships and facilitate global collaboration through storytelling, brand strategy, and creative leadership. My interests include traveling, sports, fashion, photography, music production, art, cooking, gaming, and learning about global politics and history.
