About Jerika Morey

I am a recent alumni at St. Lawrence College, with an education in accounting in order to build my base of financial knowledge. My passion for finance and organization drives me to work hard and be precise. My career goals are to be able to assist individuals in expanding their financial literacy and personal finance management. I am striving to create growth and capabilities in individuals who need it most. I am moving forward in exploring ways to improve my knowledge and skill set in order to expand on and accomplish my goals. I am currently working within Canyon Entertainment and Metus Lykos Debt Law Firm as a finance intern to strengthen my skill set and developing more concrete abilities that make me an asset. I have experience with team management within past experiences as a branch manager. This assists me in developing empathy, active listening, planning and organizing. Other work experience I have is assisting in a charitable organization for emergency shelters and expressing gratitude towards good causes and good people. I engage in conversations with my personal connections in order to build their budgeting knowledge, set debt management and assist with process development for their financial goals. This helps me develop my future client skills and problem solving. Financial counselling and advisory is something I am also incredibly passionate about and I am working towards.
