About Jerin Mathew

I am passionate and an ambitious professional with a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering and currently pursuing a Postgraduate Diploma in Global Business Management at Georgian College. My academic journey has made me capable of building a strong foundation in research, innovation and global business strategies, while my diverse work experiences have strengthened my ability to work in multicultural environment and excel in my work. I began my professional journey as a Marketing Strategist Executive in Globe Teleservices in Mumbai, where I gained hands on experience in telecommunication field which helped me work with international clients from different countries which expanded my skills in marketing and customer service. My second role was an Intern in Jabs International Pvt. Ltd where I was Business Management Executive I learned a lot about business development and supply chain operations. My Third role was as a sales representative in Coach Easily school selling E-commerce products where I acquired sales skills. My fourth role was as a financial analyst in ACE consulting services where I acquired the basic skills of accounting, filing taxes, analyzing finances of business entities and maintaining records of clients. Later, I transitioned into Canada for my post graduate studies where I got the opportunity to work in Georgian College On campus. My first role in Georgian College was a GCSA Director of foodlocker where I acquired the skills of packing food bags for students with food safety. My second role was as a start-up ambassador at registrar office where I helped students with registration of their courses with add/drop. My third role is currently as a Vice President of Administration as part of Georgian College Student Association where I have acquired the skills of recording meeting minutes, handling student club finances and documents and creating meeting agenda. Along with that I have off campus experiences in food industry like Santa’s Village an amusement park where I acquired the skills of cashier, food serving and bartending and currently at McDonald’s I am gaining the skills of kitchen management, food preparation and food safety.
