About Jerome Range
I'm currently pursuing a master's degree in sustainable health at Université du Québec à Chicoutimi. My research interests are ergonomics, prevention and road safety. My current main research subject is related to prevention of low back pain in police officers for which I have a published a systematic literature review (https://doi.org/10.3138/jmvfh-2022-0061). Other research I work on involves the safety aspect of first responders with use of tools such as visual search tracking. Before pursuing a career in research, I worked as a senior material management technician in the military while studying for a B.Sc. in administration. After realizing I wanted to try something new, I transferred to the kinesiology bachelor program at Université du Québec à Chicoutimi and became a part-time Logistics Officer in the Canadian Armed Forces.
