After transitioning from document control in the Oil & Gas Industry to the Technology Industry, I’m confident I’ve found my true calling. I began in IT Support for a Canadian Construction Company, bridging communication and solutions between the tech team and staff, and I've advanced to my current role as a Service Desk Analyst with a well-known North American Sports, Entertainment & Hospitality Company. My 8+ years in document control have equipped me with a unique skill set that any company can leverage to help the bottom line’s productivity. Key abilities include: Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Zendesk, VMware AirWatch, Bluebeam, Aconex, MacOS, iWork, Google Suite, and mobile devices as well as familiarity with emerging technologies. Serving as the first point of contact for tech troubleshooting that employees trust and know they can go to for help. Proven talent for quickly mastering new technologies and guiding others, easing transitions, and ensuring smooth experiences with various technologies. Currently, I am continuing to gain more training in the field of technology and looking forward to how this knowledge can be applied to create more efficiencies and enhance people's experience with technology so they can enjoy the benefits and leverage the tools.
