Director of River of Life Camp Pursuing Certification in Biblical Counseling - As a former camp counselor at River of Life Camp, I know the impact applying the truth of God’s Word can have on the life of an individual. This impact is what drives my passion for now directing this ministry that specializes in counseling children and teens. I would like to take this passion and utilize it for the rest of the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont by getting certified in Biblical Counseling. My desire and ability to work well with people one-on-one shows in my counseling of children and teens and in my leadership of camp staff. I have started my education in Biblical Counseling by attending several biblical counseling training conferences and I seek to further this education. I have compassion for the people of the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont, seeing how Vermont is one of the least-churched states in the country. On top of that, the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont contains two of the state’s most poverty-stricken counties. Christ is needed in this area, and I am ready and willing to share the hope of Christ with this community through the very effective means of counseling.
