About Jessica Mathieu

My name is Jessica Mathieu, I’ve been working within the retail industry for about 5 years now, and I am continuing my passion for retail within my major, retailing and consumer sciences as well as a minor in fashion. I worked at Hibbett Sports for a year as a sales associate before becoming a manger for my last 4 months of working there before coming to college. I’ve worked for the University of Arizona bookstore for almost 3 years, I have been a lead/keyholder for the souvenirs department for a year working within the stadiums for different sporting events selling merchandise as well as merchandising the stores. I enjoy setting up the stores and picking out which clothes look best where, learning about each fanbase and the different supply and demands throughout each of them, as well as what accessories are more popular. This job has helped me really expand my passion and help me have a better understand as to where I want to continue my path within my major and future careers.
