About Jessica Sample

Hi, I’m Jessica — a multidisciplinary designer with over a decade of professional experience. Whether I’m designing engaging visuals for Baron Barclay Bridge Supply, developing brand identities for freelance clients, or diving into personal creative projects, I bring a thoughtful, detail-oriented approach to every project. In my role as Branding and Creative Design Lead at Baron Barclay, I led the design of our updated website and online store, including the full transition to Shopify. My work spans print and digital media — from catalogs, book covers, and email campaigns to product photography, branded merchandise, and social media assets. I’ve focused on evolving the brand with a clean, modern-retro aesthetic that connects with both longtime customers and a new generation of bridge players. Outside of my role at Baron Barclay, I work as a freelance designer specializing in custom branding, websites, illustration, and patterns. I especially love partnering with small businesses and mission-driven brands — helping them translate their vision into visuals that feel both intentional and expressive. I’ve also designed e-commerce experiences and set up online stores using Shopify. As a self-taught designer, my style is grounded in curiosity, adaptability, and a deep love of making things — from logos and websites to playful, one-of-a-kind patterns. I feel most like myself when I’m working on a project, and that excitement shows up in the work I create. Let’s connect — I’d love to hear what you’re working on and how thoughtful design could help bring it to life.
