With over 20 years experience working in the field of Human Resource management, across all disciplines, working in large multi-national organisations and medium to small size enterprises I decided to start my own HR Company (HR Solutions) in 2008. I recognised there are a lot of HR companies offering advice that are quick to "tell" companies what to do; few companies are prepared to actually work with companies at ground level, understand the issues, get to know the business and to work with people within the business to help them resolve all HR and people concerns, whatever they might be."I offer a bespoke service whilst ensuring that things are legal of course"- Drafting contracts of employment from scratch- Ensure existing contracts meet current legislation i.e. pension schemes etc- Compiling Staff Handbooks that are relevant to your business and deal specifically with the issues you have- Handling work placed disputes - either informally or formally - getting companies familiar with ACAS rules and what you should and shouldn't be doing- Managing people out of the business, redundancies and dismissals, legally- Hearing grievances and helping to resolve issues, quickly, effectively and fairly- Mediating either individuals or teams (or both) that are not working effectively together or are not working at all- Putting in place performance management procedures that actually work for the business with CSMART targets and KPI'S- Performance coaching managers and employees to ensure that skills are relevant, up to date and working for the business- Recruitment and Selection - from beginning to end- Training and Development - designing bespoke programmes and workshops i.e. leadership and management, recruitment & selection, performance management, dispute resolution-
