Ms. Staib is a Managing Director and Founding Partner of William Hood & Company, a differentiated consumer products investment banking firm focused on the Health & Wellness industry with deep sector expertise and a specialization in nutrition & supplementation, beauty & personal care, active lifestyle and other emerging consumer trends. Ms. Staib’s notable transaction experience includes the sale of YouTheory to Jamieson, the receipt of a strategic investment in Moon Juice’s from True Beauty Ventures, the sale of Metagenics to Gryphon, the purchase of Uqora by Pharmavite, the sale of VÖOST to P&G, the sale of majority stake in Welly to Unilever, the purchase of Smartypants by Unilever, the sale of Jarrow Formulas to New Mountain Capital, the sale of OLLY to Unilever, the sale of Atrium Innovations (Garden of Life) to Nestlé and the sale of a minority stake in Nutraceutical to the Maze Group and Snapdragon Capital Partners. Prior to William Hood & Company, Jill was Vice President of Strategic Initiatives for The Nature’s Bounty Company (The Bountiful Company). Her global role focused on M&A, Corporate Development and Growth Strategy. In this capacity, she led a variety of global projects for the company including the sale of The Nature’s Bounty Company from The Carlyle Group to KKR and the sale of U.K-based retailer Holland & Barrett from The Carlyle Group to Letter1 Retail. During her tenure at The Nature’s Bounty Company, Jill also held a variety of operating leadership roles including managing the Nature’s Bounty, Pure Protein, Body Fortress and Met-Rx brands, as well as the company’s Private Label business. Jill’s passion for brands combined with her retailer relationships resulted in her driving a number of the key strategic growth initiatives behind the success of the company leading up to its sale. While managing the Nature’s Bounty brand, Jill successfully created and launched the Optimal Solutions line including its flagship Hair, Skin and Nails product, the current market leader in women’s health supplements and the fastest growing line extension in the company’s history with over $100 million in revenue. Prior to joining The Nature’s Bounty Company, Jill was the Brand Director for natural skincare line Naturopathica Holistic Health. In that role Jill was responsible for product design, marketing and distribution. Ms. Staib serves on the Global Board of Directors for Vitamin Angels. Ms. Staib holds the following FINRA Registrations: Series 24, 79 and 63.
