About Jill Thompson

Jill Bader Thompson is a consultant tackling communications, branding, event management, strategic planning and a host of other fun odds and ends for her clients. Her answer to "Can you do this for us, too?" is always a firm and happy "Yes!" Jill has been Communications Director for the Republican State Leadership Committee and lead the RSLC's "Right Women, Right Now" program. Jill was the Florida Victory Communications Director during the 2012 Romney for President campaign. Jill was the Communications Director for the 2010 campaign for Governor Scott Walker of Wisconsin and worked extensively on his inaugural festivities, heading transition efforts for First Lady Tonette Walker. Jill has also been Press Secretary for the U.S. Senate Republican Conference, Press Secretary for Sen. Lamar Alexander and campaigned for Bob Corker and Lamar Alexander. For the 100th Anniversary of the Girl Scouts of the USA, Jill consulted on messaging, event planning and policy and issues management for GSUSA's government affairs office in Washington. She also assisted them with several additional branding and membership recruitment efforts and launched the book tours of two former Girl Scout CEOs. She served on the team of Hollywood-based Strategic Perception, a top national political advertising firm. Working directly with renowned political ad maker Fred Davis, they search of our nation’s future political leaders and assist current governors, senators and corporate clients tell their story. Jill has planned several inaugural balls, tons of fun parties and is a wiz at working with VIPs - from CEOs to Senators, from Board Chairs to music celebrities, Jill can "hand hold" with the best of them. Jill is from Nashville and is a graduate of Wake Forest University with a BA in Communication with Honors. She continues to be an avid world traveler and volunteers for organizations supporting young women, including at her high school St. Cecilia Academy and with the Girl Scouts. She is also an Airbnb Superhost and manages several other properties in Music City. She loves sharing her love of Nashville (and her home!) with visitors from around the world.
