Opon relocating to Florida in 2001 started with framing single family homes and where almost all roof construction consists of pre manufactured wood trusses and the company I was working with had a truss division. In January 2004 was hired by Builders FirstSource as there full time field repair techician, which also included building roof and floor trusses, assisting plant maintenance with repairing and maintaining truss building equipment. In January 2009 the location where I was employed was closed leading to being layed off and after 6 other layoffs in 3 years, I was then rehired and relocated to Shelby Alabama by Builders FirstSource to be a Commercial Install Field Supervisor of the installation of Cold Formed Steel Trusses.
