Responsible for leading all talent acquisition and learning and development functions; including the creation and coordination of Medway Council’s Apprenticeship Academy. Awarded a place in the Top 100 Apprenticeship Employers list in November 2020! Managing the Digital Levy account and ensuring the Council continues to use all its Levy funds and achieves the challenging public sector target set alongside the Apprenticeship Levy. Both targets achieved every year since they were introduced in April 2017. Experienced in creating career progression routes across the organisation, utilising new higher and degree level Apprenticeship standards. Working with universities and training providers to commission effective bespoke delivery of apprenticeship qualification programmes to offer talent management and career progression opportunities for our staff. Ambassador for the South East Apprenticeship Ambassador Network and certified Mental Health first aider.
