United States Agency for International Develevopment (USAID) Created Global Broadband and Innovations program for expanding rural broadband connectivity. Legislative Affairs - Developed and implemented strategy to save USAID’s credit guarantee program that had been eliminated by congressional action. Directed outreach to U.S. businesses through Congressional offices to broaden support for USAID. Resolved a major dispute between Congress and Asia Bureau, freeing-up over $300 million in projects. Directed legislative program for the Trade & Development Program (TDP). Founded trade association and directed legislative activities resulting in successful passage of major legislation in Tennessee state legislature. Private Sector Management/Marketing Developed and coordinated marketing and advertising for $100 million financial institution. Directed business development, customer service, savings department and six branch offices. Excellent business development and sales skills, twice finishing in the top ten in monthly sales among J.C.Bradford & Company's national network of 250 account executives.
