About Joe Patterson

My belief in the power of story drives everything I do. Whether it's speaking, making a film, or writing, crafting a narrative that compels and calls to action is my passion. It's what gives me an edge imparting truth to young people. Jesus and many other inspirational thought leaders harnessed the power of storytelling to impart truth in a timeless package. It enables me to be a better advocate for the brands I consult with; understanding that everyone has a story to tell enables me to be your team member, in your corner, bringing your vision to life. It makes the film projects I work on more meaningful, because whether it's a wedding or an action-packed adventure, there's a narrative I seek to develop, beyond simply stitching together video clips. I am also a lifelong musician specializing in guitar playing, which is a skill set that walks hand in hand with who I am. The power of story is both intimate and earth-shaking, and I'm fascinated by it. I am passionate about helping others tell their stories as I continue to live and share mine. As a speaker, I can bring inspiration and wisdom to bear from unique challenges and great adventures I've experienced in my own life. I have traveled alone over thousands of miles to explore and photograph. I've backpacked solo through some of the harshest terrain in the United States in both extremes of temperature. I've fought for my life when some of those trips took unexpected turns for the worse. From those experiences I share my perspectives of perseverance, courage, determination, and more. I can encourage your team or group and inspire them to dig deeper and live with bravery even when the odds are against them. Being a storyteller means I love to collaborate. What kinds of things could we bring to life together? How can my story benefit your team, school, church, or group? Let's find out!
