As a dedicated advocate for the betterment of children and young people, particularly those from Black and minority communities and facing social adversity, my career is a testament to the power of resilience and transformative leadership. With a background that spans across firsthand experiences with the criminal justice system, extensive youth work, and strategic leadership as the CEO of a grassroots charity, I bring a unique perspective to the table. Currently, I'm broadening my expertise through an MPhil in Educational Leadership and Improvement at Cambridge University. This academic pursuit complements my practical experience, allowing me to approach youth issues with a balanced blend of theory and real-world insights. I'm particularly passionate about mental health advocacy, especially concerning male mental health in Black communities.
